The release of LAKEVIEW TERRACE, a film whose title can be construed as misleading to say the least (is this a period piece?) prompted the folks over at EW to compile their list of the most misleading movie title of 2008. That list spawned another list, this time examining the best movie titles of all time. Although I don’t agree with everything the lister has to say, his arguments are definitely compelling. All this ponitificating over the worth of movie titles may seem trivial to some, but we here take our movies seriously, and a film’s title can never be ignored. So I figure I might as well unleash the Schmoes into this debate, as it rages in into the new year. So tell me Schmoes…what is the best and worst movie title of all time?
What’s in a Title?
