Wow this was unexpected. Just last week when the two teaser posters for IRON MAN 2 popped up online, I immediately began wondering when we'd start seeing character posters for Whiplash and Black Widow. Turns out we didn't have to wait long. Paramount and Marvel have today revealed the Whiplash teaser poster and while the look of Mickey Rourke is similar to what we've seen in pictures, we get a pretty good look at his whips.

This is awesome. My wish came true to see stand-alone Whiplash poster. And the poster itself looks better than Iron Man one.

Now that looks amazing. Pretty solid. Like I've said before, looking forward to Iron Man for Rourke more than Downey.



Poster reminds me of The Dark Knight a lot, though, but I guess that's alright.

Am I the only one that thought IM was super crap? It was soooo boring. I actually fell asleep about halfway into it. Expensive cgi does not a good movie make.

No you're not the only one. Iron Man was pretty boring. The suit looked awesome, the characters were played well, but there's nothing in it that makes me wanna buy the DVD for a second watch. Boring is right! Part 2 looks pretty cool so far, though...especially Rourke being in it.

I'm diggin the new look, I guess I got used to it, I previously would have prefered Whiplash to have an armor suit with the mask and all that good stuff but then there's Iron Man with a mask War Machine has a mask and It would have been a little too much to have the villan wear a mask as well so I get why he doesn't have a mask, the poster is wicked cool now bring on The Black Widow poster, I...

I like what I've seen so far. Iron Man was one of the few comic films that I actually thought looked good enough to seek out. I'm sure the sequel will live up to expectations.

Thats the final look.
Im pretty sure that is the final look of Whiplash in the movie. It is still possible Crimson Dynamo may make an appearance. There has to be some major villian we dont know about because what would be the point of adding War Machine and Black Widow to the mix?

I think it looks sweet. My guess is this is a "Mark 1" suit that Whiplash uses to take down a non-suited Stark at a race (pretty easy to assume given the photos released so far). Then Whiplash upgrades to a more effective suit for an epic battle.

Actually dont mind this poster. Not surprised about the mixed reaction, but this is probably a mark 1 suit, and in the comics those whips can deflect stuff like bullets so thats how theyd explain stark not being able to just shoot him.

I find it hard to complain about an accent before I hear it. Besides, she doesn't have to use an accent: she's a spy! Spies have to learn to blend in their environment.

As for Rourke, I don't like his costume but he is Mickey Rourke. He'll probably find a way to make himself look cool.
