Will Tim Miller’s Deadpool movie be rated PG-13?

Last week we got good news in the form of FOX officially announcing a release date for a Deadpool movie. Now here comes the bad news: it might be rated PG-13 instead of R. During the latest "Meet the Movie Press" podcast, Schmoes Know's Mark Reilly revealed there's a chance the Tim Miller movie will be PG-13.

I heard from the director that they finally figured out the script, and it was right before this was announced, that they figured out, and you guys are all gonna hate this, they figured out how to make it PG-13. And therefore "not lose its soul", and that' a quote, of the script so that they can make it.

I just don't see how Tim Miller and company have figured out a way to make a PG-13 Deadpool movie work without pissing fans of the "Merc with the Mouth," and if there's one comic book character who deserves an R-rated movie, it's definitely Deadpool. Hell, even the video game was rated M. Would you still be interested in seeing DEADPOOL if it ends up being PG-13?

DEADPOOL will be in theaters on February 12, 2016.
