Strike Back below!
by: James Thoo Jul. 8, 2008

A new picture from the upcoming X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE has hit the web and you can check it out in all its glory over HERE.

In it, Hugh Jackman basically just continues to make my life just that much more difficult, since my girlfriend reads this shit and just look at that freaking bicep. It's ridiculous. I heard that one time a guy took his parking space at the mall, so Jackman just picked up the car and tossed it out of the way. You didn't read about it in the papers or anything because after that he used his bicep to crush time itself. Also, don't worry about what I just wrote because I don't even think it makes any sense, and apparently now I'm not only less muscular than Hugh Jackman but also possibly deranged. I'm a real catch.

Bad Ass Dude
I agree with 313_critic and the other members of this forum that feel that Wolverine is the most vicious Character in the game,(Sorry Batman don't quit your day job!!).Wolverine Orgins needs to be grim, gritty, and psycho. We already know for a fact that Hugh Jackman just can't be f**k with as Wolverine ,and hopefully we can assume that Liev Schreiber will be equally impressive(and if humanly...

NICE....
This move needs to be grittier, darker, and for everyone's sake...there needs to be some gore! and yes, the Civil War arc ruled. Didnt like the art all that much, but enjoyed the story.

Nice. I do hope the movie will have a much darker, grittier tone since that's how Wolverine should be.

RE: Recommended reading: That wasn't very good. I'd suggest Coyote Crossing arc.

heh
So the other day I watched a clip of "The Boy from Oz" that I found on YouTube. This has cleansed it. (Though that WAS amusing. Dude can shake it.)

In short: Jackman=All sorts of fine

Wolverine=Badass character since Day One.

I actually think they should take Wolvie in the exact OPPOSITE direction as "Batman Begins," mostly 'cause I'm sick of "realistic" comic book movies. And by realistic, I mean this obsession that producers have with taking comic book properties and twisting them into semi-feasible "hey, it could happen" scenarios set in the real world (I'm looking at you, Galactus the Killer Space-Storm)....

They're comic books. Deal with it.

Now, if people are just talking about going all BB tone-wise, then sure, that's fine. The Wolvie comics have always been pretty dark and violent, and there's really no way to do them justice without an R-rating. But if it's real world believability that people want, then I say fuck that noise.

Oh, and cool image.

"Come on bub"
I'm still on the fence with this one. Haven't really been wowed by anything I've seen or heard about it yet. Wolverine is such an awesome character I wouldn't mind them giving it a batman begins-ish vibe but With more comic book action. I mean really show that wolverine is not to be fucked with!!

Batman Begins
I've watched Batman Begins twice on DVD in the last 2 days, and I've just reserved the Blu-Ray version at my local blockbuster to watch tonight. It will be my 2nd Blu-ray movie ever on my new 42 inch 1080p HDTV. To say I'm currently obsessed with TDK would be an understatment.

Anyone else planning on seeing Dark Knight twice in one day? I think I am, but sadly not in...

P.S to keep on topic, Wolverine should try to be as much like Batman Begins as possible, in terms of quality.
