Why settle for mere character snapshots from X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE when you can let the mutants just introduce themselves?

In these new clips we get some insight into Wolvie, his sideburned pseudo-sibling Sabretooth, bullet-bisecting bare-biceped Wade Wilson (better known to comic fanboys as Deadpool), disappearing Blackeyed Pea John Wraith, energetic poker fan Gambit, hottie mutie Emma Frost, oversized puncher Fred J. Dukes (sometimes called Blob) and the guy with the leash on them all, William Stryker.

You can also see them in HD at Yahoo. The flick opens May 1st.

Weak
Not sure what the end product will entail, but if it's anything like the final plot line I read, it's gonna be cliche and anti-climactic.

I'm waiting to see the final version of the flick in theaters, but probably my only real problem is that the movie isn't called WEAPON X. I think that would have been a more appropriate title.

Hmmmmm
I think this movie would have been more successful so far if they took the movie more seriously. If Wolverine came out slashing people with blood gushin' out... then the movie would be worth watching. As of right now it looks too cheesy and straight for kids.

4 Questions
1.Could Fox's Marketing campain be any lamer?

2.Is fox trying to bankrupt itself?

3.Am i the only one who has become less exited about this movie because of the marketing?

4. Can anyone remember when Fox actually made consistantly good film's?

Some are cool others cheesey, I just want to see the film already, I know a few people that already have the burned copy of the leaked film on DVD but I keep teloling them the version they have is out of context and is missing footage, I hope this doesn't affect the film's box office.

Is it me or was the first half of Sabretooth's speech a ripoff of Seth Brundle's speech in The Fly? "---a fly who dreamt he was a man and loved it, but the dream is over and the insect is awake."

Lame. I was excited for this movie about, oh, 2 years ago...but this marketing campaign is killing me. Everything Fox has done to promote this movie is extremely cheesy. The wolverine "thinking man" poster, the CGI claws, the lame character posters and now this?

Have they scheduled Wolvie's American Idol appearance ye?

Ah ... the Blob IS going to be fat in this, yes? And why does Emma come across as such a wallflower, instead of a snooty ice bitch? And ... eh, whatever. It's Fox. Not like they actually care about the comics they're adapting.
