Wolvie trailer when? | Movie News

Compared to this year, next summer looks a bit bleak for big comic book movies. But the WOLVERINE solo flick (oh, sorry -- X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE) might have enough mutants to make up for that by itself.
So when can you get your first good look at the adamantium-clawed renegade and his shadowy past? The full trailer will be premiering in theaters on December 12th, with the remake of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. So if you needed a better reason to see Keanu admonish our planet, Marvel's slashing beserker makes a convincing argument.
The trailer should be online shortly thereafter, whether in shitty cam bootleg or glorious Quicktime.

Also, this leads up to the opening scene of X1 with Wolvie and Rogue, so, gambit very easily could be introduced in the second part of the second act, closer to the time line for X1.
I cant wait for Deadpool. Ryan Rynolds will nail that part......

I'm am so looking foward to this trailer and even more to the film, I really hope they don't screw this one up, X3 was a total let down and the main reason why people are still iffy about this Wolverine spin-off, but hey X2 is one f the best supehero films of all time so I know they can deliver a good X-MEN film, here's hoping XMO:W brings back the X-MEN and finally pave the way for X-MEN4, no more spin-offs!

This is just about the most ridiculous, 15 year old understanding of the character that I've ever seen. Have you ever even read a comic book, much less Wolverine comics? At no point in Wolverines long sordid history can he be described as merciless. Sure he has done some terrible things...but it's his internal struggle, his humanity fighting against those animalistic urges you describe that make Wolverine so appealing. It's trying to appease comments like this one that will make this movie fail. That and the fact they thought it was a good idea to include a character who throws energy charged playing cards. 'Gambit gonna deal you a real nice hand, ma petty'. Please.

Wolverine needs to have gore. It needs to be gritty and dark. They need to show people that he isn't some hero. He's a merciless, unstable, animalistic human being in a lot of pain and rage. He's not some kid's idol. But I'm sure Fox will tell it otherwise. Plus, as much as I love the fact that we'll finally see some Gambit (even though Josh Holloway would have been way better as the Cajun), I'm not sure how he's even around 20years before the first X-Men movie. What does that make him now? 45?
See what I mean.
