Wonder Woman & her amazon kin shine in new IMAX posters

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Can you hear that? It's the sound of Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL's WONDER WOMAN theme coming on like thunder as the amazonian warrior princess prepares for her solo theatrical debut. While some have claimed that Diana hasn't been getting enough PR love in the lead-up to her action-packed film, we're here to tip the scales a bit with some new, bold and beautiful posters courtesy of IMAX.

Go ahead, tie a bib around your neck and feast your eyes on the posters shown below:

Hot damn! I love how regal all of these badass ladeis look here in these images. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you who is standing proudly on each one. Of course, the first poster features Gal Gadot's Diana Prince, while Connie Nielsen's Queen Hippolyta is looking fierce in the second, and finally, we have Robin Wright's General Antiope to round out the bunch.

Is it June 2nd yet? Seriously, beccause I haven't anticipated a comic book-related film like WONER WOMAN in what feels like years, and that includes both CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. It's my hope that WONDER WOMAN only exceeds people's expectations, and that the success of the film leads to more projects featuring female heroes in a lead role get the green light.

WONDER WOMAN, starring Gal Gadot, David Thewlis, Robin Wright, Chris Pine, Connie Meilsen, Lucy Davis, Elena Anaya, and more will assuredly arrive in theaters beginning on June 2, 2017!
