Woods joins Dogs

Looks like the remake of STRAW DOGS, just got two more actors signed on to film, James Woods and Dominic Purcell.

So far the cast consists of Kate Bosworth, Alexander SkarsgÄrd, Rhys Coiro, Walton Goggins, and James Marsden in the lead role of David, originally played by Dustin Hoffman. Director Rod Lurie let everyone know via his Facebook page, "Beginning stunt rehearsals today with James Woods and Dominic Purcell." Purcell you might already know as Lincoln Burrows from PRISON BREAK.

It seems a bit too soon to be doing a remake of a movie that came out in 1971, but I guess nothing is really off limits. I could understand maybe redoing it if it were terrible, but it was pretty good movie.

James Marsden will get a chance to flex his tough guy muscle again, since the majority of the time he's kind of a wuss. I like Marsden but why did they make Cyclops such a bitch?! Maybe it's just me. STRAW DOGS will hit theaters in 2010.
