Woody Allen's next..
I'm a major fan of Woody Allen's movies, and even though most of his recent stash has been pretty mediocre, to say the least, I always look forward to his next adventure. He's also one of the few writer/directors who's actually able to create a new picture every year, and I guess that says something (yeah, like maybe he should take more time between films, so that his latest batch would improve!). Anyway, his latest movie called HOLLYWOOD ENDING starring Treat Williams, Tea Leoni and George Hamilton (yeah, that's not a typo) is set to open on May 3rd, 2002, but the Woodster is already hard at work on his next project.
Tentatively untitled (actually, Woody never gives away his titles or his movies' plotlines this early in the game), the movie is set to start shooting this spring and will star Jason Biggs, Christina Ricci, Danny DeVito and Glen Close (you know, the narrator chick from the Oscars). All we know is that the film will somehow revolve around three young adults (two of whom are played by Biggs and Ricci) and that Close might be playing Ricci's mom. Stay tuned for more details as they arise.
