X-Men still coming

Update: Apparently, Tim's Twitter account was hacked into and he did not post the comment about X-Men. Here's what he had to say about it, "victim of cruel prank.last tweet=NOT me.AM filming Aussie show till2010.no official word on XM:FC but am interested."

X-MEN FIRST CLASS is not going away, no matter how much the fans might want it to.

It's been awhile since anything was brought up about actually making a FIRST CLASS movie. I seriously thought for a bit that they just were going to forget about the project all together, but they didn't. The youngster Cyclops from WOLVERINE: ORIGINS, Tim Pocock revealed from his Twitter account that next year it would begin, "Currently shooting Australian TV series till February 2010...then X-men first class." He adorably followed the news with a wink smiley face to smooth things over.

X-Men was my first favorite comic book, but as of late I've really lost interest in any of the mutant story arcs except for ASTONISHING X-MEN. I can't say that I'm up for any more disappointments when it comes to X-Men movies. The first one was good, the second one was great, and the third one really lost me. There was so much going on that my brain temporarily shut off while watching it.

It also seems a bit bothersome that Josh Schwartz (THE O.C., GOSSIP GIRL) is writing the script. If you're doing anything teen related that you want to be a hit, he's the guy to go to. Does this mean that Cyclops will be more emo? Oh shit.

Extra Tidbit: There should always be more Nightcrawler.
