A live-action YOGI BEAR movie was, let's face it, inevitable.

Now here's your first look at Jellystone's famous park dweller and his diminutive comrade as voiced by Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake (neither of whom I ever would've recognized had they not been identified). The movie comes from JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH director Eric Brevig and also stars Tom Cavanagh, TJ Miller and a seemingly agonized Anna Faris.

The synopsis: Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors -- and, even worse, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is "smarter than the average bear" as he and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.

WTF!!!
This film looks so bad it looks like a std film but cos they have 3d this is now a major release. Dan Akroyd is a joke as yogi and justin as boo boo was ok but what i hate is this fascination with cg/human films sure alvin and the chipmunks did it and it was cool (they did it alot better than scooby doo) but now smurfs and this i would rather see them in their 2d versions kicking ass instead of...

For little kids yeah ok it will prob be a hit, im sure my daughter will love it, but jesus the CGI gets worse for these films, looks worse than a straight to DVD film.

I'm not gonna hate, this trailer is much more enjoyable than the lame smurfs trailers. Any preview with that "wild thing" song deserves instant fail.

Colour me impressed by his voice.

Akroyd's slips a lot but its still pretty good.

Will be another Alvin, but these things aren't made for adults though some on here fail to see that...

Wow, Aykroyd, a comedy legend and respected voice-talent, sounds nothing like Yogi Bear. Timberlake, a former member of N-Sync and the butt of most non-Justin Beiber related pop culture jokes, totally nails Boo Boo. Go figure!

Its a Kids movie. Kid movies have never held our hands. They use the jokes and cliches because they work. I think it looks pretty good for a kids flick.

It actually looks like a decent kids movie. I think everyone was expecting a Scooby Doo or Chipmunks like movie but this one actually feels like the original cartoon. I do love the poster too.

For some reason I could not get the thought of Timberlakes voice coming out of BooBoo for the past day. I also was impressed when I finally heard it. It's probably digitally altered though.

Looks good enough for a rental. Tom Cavanagh needs to be in more movies. The guys is extremely funny and underrated. Was great on Scrubs as J.D.'s brother.

Loved Yogi as a kid. Doesn't look terrible so far for this type of movie. Not really digging Akroyd's Yogi impression, but surprised at Timberlake's Boo Boo.
