Zack, Miri go green

Sep. 5, 2008by: Mike Sampson

Just the other day the red-band trailer for ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO popped up online and set raunchy new heights for red-band trailers. Today the green-band trailer (you know, the kind you'd normally see in a movie theater) is online and it's interesting to see what they've cut and what they've added in. I'll include the green band theatrical trailer for you below and then head over here to watch the red-band trailer so you can compare and contrast. Just know you won't hear any mention of LAWRENCE OF A LABIA in the green-band version...

Extra Tidbit: How come no appearance from Brian "Dante" O'Halloran?

Sad

I am a big Seth Rogen fan, I have liked everything he's been in from Undeclared to Pineapple Express. I know it's Kevin Smiths fault, just not looking forward to this at all.

I have to say, not that I doubted Smith could really knock this one out of the park... but this really looks like a tremendous return to form for him. Rogen and Smith seems to be a no-brainer pairing as this movie looks hilarious. I'm biased as a Smith fan as I've enjoyed all of his flicks (even Jersey Girl is a good father/daughter flick for those who actually watch it) but I'll agree he hasn't really had a "great" film since Dogma but man this just looks funny. It also looks a lot prettier,

It also looks a lot prettier, Smith has really been stepping up his directorial game in his last few efforts and that's culminating nicely here. But please...no dance numbers featuring all the cliches of Jersey this time k?
