Zooey Deschanel and James Franco star in a new Your Highness clip

I'll bet there will be some people who go see YOUR HIGHNESS and will have no idea that Zooey Deschanel is even in the movie. She hasn't been a big part of the marketing campaign but I think her character could be one of the funniest in the movie. She's been locked up in a castle for a while so she's understandably a little insane.

This clip below gives us our first look at Deschanel as Belladonna, the woman Thaddeus and Fabious head out on their quest to save. You don't really get to see her nuttiness in the clip but that'll be a pleasant surprise for audiences. In a way, I still can't believe this movie got made in the current studio system. It's that weird and raunchy and hilarious. Check out the new clip below...

can't wait for this movie!

this is going to be the funniest shit in a long while.

by the way, can anybody explain how they make the transition from franco to the other guy without cutting? i've always been curious about these types of 'effects'/techniques.

Easiest way to do it is by actually cutting and using a motion control rig. What that does is a computer controlled camera move in order to recreate the exact same move every time. Then you should Franco, shoot the other guy using the identical pass. Use limited CG to smooth the hood where you put in the cut, so folks won't notice. You don't really need a motion control rig either, that camera move was pretty simple and it was only moving in 1 plane, so probably pretty easy to

Hope that helps.

Yep Nivekian, Red Band sold it

How awesome is it that Natalie Portman's first post-Oscar release is a stoner comedy where she bends over in a thong?

I love movies.

thanks Rogue428. i never really thought about using CG to smooth out just the edges of the hood, but that makes sense.
