Adapted for the screen by Jeremy Brock, Charlotte Gray is based upon Sebastian Faulks’ best-selling novel of the same name. Blanchett will play a young Scottish woman who joins the French Resistance in order to save her boyfriend, played by Crudup, a member of the Royal Air Force who is shot down in France.
