Perky sorority sister Carolyn (Christina Ricci) and her Alpha Omega Pi sisters want to win the Sorority of the Year award, so they plan to help mentally challenged athletes in the Challenged Games regional finals. Things begin to get interesting when Carolyn meets Pumpkin (Hank Harris) and is drawn to his humanity despite her shallow friends.
