Movie Super Bowl spots

With any luck we'll be watching the New York Giants in the Super Bowl this year but who else will we be seeing on Super Bowl Sunday? How about Optimus Prime? GI Joe? Wolverine? Those are just some of the movies that are looking to run commercials during the year's biggest sporting events. TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN, STAR TREK, GI JOE, ANGELS AND DEMONS, MONSTERS VS. ALIENS, LAND OF THE LOST, FAST AND FURIOUS and UP are all confirmed to be running commercials. WOLVERINE is likely but Fox hasn't actually purchased their time yet so it can't be confirmed. Another Disney movie will be shown off (they bought two slots) and though it hasn't been confirmed, you can expect a RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN ad as well. Sadly because of the impending lawsuit, you won't see any new WATCHMEN footage and Warner Bros. has decided to sit 2009 out entirely so no TERMINATOR SALVATION either. What is good about this year is that the TRANSFORMERS and GI JOE footage will be the first time anyone has seen footage from either of those films. Now that we've got these things confirmed, let's work on confirming that football team from New York...

Extra Tidbit: I still remember the Super Bowl ad for GLADIATOR and how pumped it got me to see the film.

Pro football or basketball sucks! College is waaay better, atleast they try and give it there best... That doesn't mean i wont be watchin the super bowl though...

blah, blah, superbowl ads, blah whatever, Revenge of the Fallen, ..... the only thing that matters is that this article is on point, the Giants WILL win the SB this year. Eagle's fans will just have to sit at home thinking about the last time they won a Superbo.... oh wait, they have never won the Superbowl.

Definatley looking foward to X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE and TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN to bad I was looking foward to some new WATCHMEN footage but I guess I'll have to wait, I'm not a big football fan so I'll probaby wait till it hits the web or I'll just stay alert when they come on T.V.

Wow! So many incredible TV spots for the Super Bowl!!

The movie preview commercials r always the best.. and they continue to kick ass this year.

Oh.. and btw.. I'm from south Jersey, grew up a Jets fan all my life, but being so close to philly I'm always at Phillies and Eagles games, and I will be watching Sunday, rooting hard for the Eagles!

I will probably be too drunk to remeber these commercials, but you can bet your ass I will be taping the game.

that regardless of who wins the Eagles-Giants game, my Panthers are going to kick their ass in the Championship and go on to win the Super Bowl.

Not to stray from the movie talk but...
I am a long time fan of this site but have never responded to anything posted on it but this article made me feel that for once my voice should be heard. With that said, the Giants suck and the Philadelphia Eales spank them on Sunday. Oh yeah, I'm also a huge Eagles fan.
