Cameron Diaz stepped out this week to celebrate her 38th birthday with current beau, baseball player Alex Rodriguez. I'm no sports fan myself, but from the long history of athletes and their exceptionally beautiful mates, I might just be in the minority when opting to choose anyone over some dude who banged Madonna. But hey, to each their own, which is the mantra of Battle of the Babes.

Eliza Dushku

Currently dating basketball player Rick Fox and currently annoying me while I watch the first season of "Dollhouse" off my instant NetFlix queue, Eliza Dushku has proven that she's good at cheering on her man even better than her BRING IT ON alter ego Missy. They have 14 inches (hey! oh!) and 11 years separating them but love knows only the boundaries of the Twitter 140 character limit, where Eliza has shared her Celtics jersey pride and approval of Fox's recent "Dancing with the Stars" partner (that wonky looking Cheryl chick).

Hilary Duff

I like Hilary Duff. More specifically, I've always had respect for Mama Duff, that crazy woman who dared to take on the House of Mouse and refuse to allow them to make scads of money off her "Lizzie Maguire" character while they paid her a scant fraction of what they were taking in. Sure, she might not have had the best judgment when it came to allowing her bodacious daughter to date that Madden fellow, but when it came to true love, bumping her up the chain to hockey star Mike Comrie was exactly the right move I'd expect Mama Duff to back up.

Minka Kelly

I've never watched "Friday Night Lights," the show where Minka Kelly shook her pompoms in the appropriate cheerleader outfit, but according to everything I've heard or read about the show, it was aces. Still have no interest in watching it. Or baseball for that matter, even though I know there has been a long list of hotties who have followed the sport and Kelly's future (ex?)husband, Derek Jeter. I say that if attaching herself to him gets her more recognition, then work that shit, chick!

Salacious sidelick: So last week I was apparently feeling a little Moody (as perfect as you all know I am - stifle that laughter! - I can't be exceptional 100% of the time, dammit) and so were the rest of you who decided that MooN Bloodgood was the best of the exotic babes, giving her 20 of the 37 votes for a winning 54% of the tally. Indian lovely, Freida Pinto, was the second place finisher with 11 (30%) of the votes and my personal favorite, Aubrey Plaza, wasn't shut out completely, garnering 6 (16%) of the votes, which is gratifying enough for me to continue on despite my spelling faux pas.
