Hollywood Gossip | Hot or Not: Jennifer Aniston

Here's one for ya. If a babe was once hot and hasn't really done anything drastic to change her looks other than aging in a way that makes her look more mature and yet not nearly as bad as the other "normal" women in her age bracket, has she stopped being the hottie that she previously had been? And if women think she's hot, does that mean that she's still hot in the eyes of the opposite gender? Or do women even think she's hot to begin with anymore? So many questions boiling down to one "controversial" hottie. Let's discuss!

If you had shown me a picture of Jennifer Aniston before she starred on "Friends," I never would have guessed that she would have been destined for the amount of exposure that she ended up getting on that show. But given one well written character, one iconic haircut and what appears to have been a very diligent work ethic and you ended up with a babe in the '90's who influenced even yours truly to go out and get the "Rachel" cut.

Flash forward to her years of being Mrs Brad Pitt. Sure, I was one of the many people who thought she was pretty damn good in THE GOOD GIRL. But then she just started churning out disaster after disaster, all the while continuing to make more and more money per bomb that she filmed. While I could understand how she was getting the money she was for her television hit, I could not fathom why a chick who was best at playing second banana to bigger male name counterparts (think Carey in BRUCE ALMIGHTY) ended up being a supposed box office draw on basically nothing.

As her relationship crashed and burned, Aniston continued to demand a high salary, all while never making a fraction of the amount that her romantic nemesis has. Her paychecks are totally unearned, especially when she's remembered most now for her pathetic state of bedroom address rather than any talent that she might have had at some point during her career. If this means that she's still good looking, I don't see how. If it means that we're all supposed to THINK she's good looking because she makes so much money, then I guess women really have come a long way baby... seeing as that's how so many lame "comedians" make their dough in film.
