I've been posting about this Hottie for quite some time. (Since August of 2008, to be exact.) Long before most of the websites online began to devote heavy attention to her, long before she donned the blue wig. I'm not going to toot my own horn or anything, as I've taken far too much shit about whether or not she belongs in the pantheon of Movie Hotties. But I will say that I told you so. And then you can say whatever the hell you want after that.

With her second big album debuting this week, it seems like ages ago since Katy Hudson decided to change her name so as not to get confused with the daughter of Goldie, failed several times at her attempts to get a Christian recording career underway, ended up writing successful songs for other artists and then garnered attention for kissing girls in a manner which irritated most critics and anti-pop fans alike. And it's been even long since she was the fresh-faced blonde girl that she started off as, recreating herself and her future with a Bettie Page inspired do and layers of make-up dressed up in garish outfits.

But who really cares to look back into her history when you can focus on her present. Turning 26 on October 25th and preparing to give that body away to the unkempt British man who ekes out comedy with a sashay and toothy grin, most people are overlooking Katy's potential talent (or lack thereof) to concentrate on her famous curves.

Still, it would be remiss to not note that Perry has carved out a following of young people and famous people alike, grabbing the only female voice role in THE SMURFS movie, getting attention from the people at Pixar after she famously tweeted that she'd take any role they'd offer her, becoming the only thing worth watching at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, successfully hosting the 2010 Teen Choice Awards and doing it all with a blue wig that no one seems to be complaining about all that vocally. So sure, she's got the T&A and support from me.
