Every now and then a trailer comes along and I see an actress that has been mostly MIA for awhile. So then I get curious about what they've been up to, and that's enough to make the BS sights lock on. So, what the hell's been up with: MINNIE DRIVER!

ASS (6/10):

I just don't have the heart to go too terribly low for anyone who keeps their booty in shape, but man, Driver has a flat, shapeless, pretty much non-existent butt. Not her fault by any means, it's simply what she got in the genetic lottery, but probably best if we just move on.

BOOBIES (5/10):

Floppy is not a term that is good news when talking about lady lumps. When given some support Minnie's chest can look downright enticing, but unleash it (NSFW) and you're looking at boobs that have the flat droopy consistency of a fluffy pancake.

FACE (8/10):

MD has a face that's more interesting than classically pretty, but it is very interesting. She's rocking the freckles, the curly hair frame, and just has this look about her that seems to scream sweet but freaky. I gotta admit that vibe is totally my kryptonite when it comes to women. I'd take this kind of beauty over the EW hottie of the moment any day.

PERSONALITY (8/10):

Well her dating life certainly makes her seem a bit unstable, but the chick is funny as hell and the aura she exudes just screams trouble. And fun. Not somebody you're likely to marry, but definitely fling material to the nth degree. She also gets props for being a surfer and a boxer. Any chick who's happy to get her hands dirty in sport is A-OK by me.

CAREER (7/10):

It feels like Minnie has had a better career than her resume merits. She had a solid start, but since GPB has sort of faded into obscure indie stuff and over rated T.V. work (Sorry, but I've tried to get into THE RICHES and just can't do it). I give her credit for following a path that is distinctly her own, but by any measurable standard, she's not found a way to marry artistry with projects that more than a handful of people want to see.

High points: CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, GOOD WILL HUNTING, GROSSE POINTE BLANK
Low points: OWNING MAHONEY, HOPE SPRINGS

OVERALL (7/10):

Minnie Driver does a bit more for me than a 7 typically would, but she kinda hits a lot of my buttons in the right way. Regardless, after a promising start on her rise to fame, she hasn't really managed to distinguish herself. As far as her hotness goes, it has a lot more to do with vibe and carriage than knock out looks or body. So take her for what she is, and love her or not, she is distinctly her own.

I use to not care for her in terms of looks. But I actually think she's gotten better looking with age. And how about replacing Owny Mahoney in the low point with the dreadful (and ironically titled) Beautiful?

To each their own, but I just don't understand the appeal here. The face would be more like a 3/10 for me. This chick always seems to make me cringe when I see her.

My wife would definitely say I'm out of my mind, but not for any movie related opinions.

Personally I found OM insufferable to watch and her role throwaway at best. But hey, to each their own.

Her best feature is her legs but I think the overall score of 7 is about right. Agree that Owning Mahoney is not a low point.
