I want to stop and get your attention for a minute. For as great as all of you Schmoes are, I work with some of the best in the online writing world. With a little help from Walkuski, Withers and Gilbert, I was able to get the inspiration to have a Horror Babe Battle right before the greatness that is Halloween. I love those guys. But if you don't like these picks, blame them. Ha.

Asia Argento

Argento gets automatic cool points for being the daughter of the legendary Dario Argento, but as much as she was able to get into movies based on her father's status, she's grown into a pretty decent actress and has moved on to a promising directing career herself. And sure, while she played it as straight as she could in her father's MOTHER OF TEARS, it was a mighty and fruitless attempt at getting the man some credibility above being that guy who underscores his tensest moments with the worst soundtrack selections ever. (Withers choice, by the way.)

Jennifer Ellison

Ooooh, I love me some Jennifer Ellison. Granted, I've only seen pictures of her flaunting that huge silicone or saline or whatever unnatural ingredient chest of hers, but she was the highpoint of THE COTTAGE for me. What started out as a bumbling comedy gone into fantastic horror depths, you wanted to wring her neck as much as you fantasized about doing things to other parts of her as well. (Blame this one on Walkuski.)

Rose McGowan

I read somewhere that when women go in to the Nip-Tuck docs, they often use Rose as their barometer for what they want their chest to look like. I can't say I blame them. From SCREAM to PHANTOMS to even PLANET TERROR, McGowan has brought the goods to many a horror film. I've been a fan since she was in Araki's THE DOOM GENERATION and while some might not always adore the dimpled chin, I'm not one of them. (This is all Gilbert on this one, folks.)

Asia. McGowan annoys me but she is still good looking. And Ellison is pretty much how you would describe a hot chick, but missing all the character. Shes just so plain. Shes like the picture on the Ladies Room door...

10 years ago I would have went with Rose no question, but here lately she doesn't look to good. It's almost like she's decomposing or something. But since I'm voting today, I'll go with Asia.

Rose takes the cake. And easily. I actually think Asia Argento is insanely over rated by horror fans (based mainly on the Dario connection). I guess I understand if you're primarily into goth chicks, but I cant say...

I guess I understand if you're primarily into goth chicks, but I cant say I'm in that camp. As for Ellison? Fantastic chesticles, and great internet pics...but I NEVER go with a girl I've yet to actually see in a movie. So, it's Rose McGowan for me and based on actual career, and Hotness factor, like I said, it's easy.
