Sometimes you just need the right kind of woman to fill in when no one else will do. As I scanned for a movie being released this holiday week (hell, the whole month of October is dedicated to Halloween, right? Aside from that weird Canadian Thanksgiving thing...), I realized that there wasn't anyone good enough to pick from. So I went with the girl that has been filling most roles lately. I figured she'd fit just fine.

Kristen Wiig

It's hard to believe that Wiig has only been gracing the SNL stage for 4 years, having debuted back in 2005. She's got the feel of a woman who has been around forever and not in that lingering grandmother who won't leave even as you open the door and hand her her coat. Wiig has this warmly ingratiating feeling to her. She's really the only thing making the long-running late-night show bearable. Even when trying not to lose her shit when the 4th ever F-bomb got dropped on the opening show this season.

Overlook the goofy outfits and weird wigs that they put her in and really study Kristen for a minute. Tall, well toned and lacking that quality of haughtiness to her that "regular" actresses have, she's the chick that is too busy making you laugh with her subtlety (as evidenced in KNOCKED UP) for you to notice just how outrageously hot she can be.

Now currently the best thing in the current release, WHIP IT!, even if the movie failed to bring in large box office receipts, she's sure to be forever quoted for her memorable line about the special shampoo not making you feel very special at all. But this funny lady is destined to make most of us feel special in a whole other way for a very long time.

I don't find her to be acttractive, sorry to break the streak of "hot" votes, but I do think she can be funny in certain skits and movie roles. I think by far the best performance of her career so far was in Whip It,...

I think by far the best performance of her career so far was in Whip It, since that gave her a character with more dimensions than anything she's played previously. That's actually my favorite movie of the year. However, I didn't think she was the best part of that movie, it was definitely Ellen Page in my opinion.
