The directorial debut of Jason Alexander (“Seinfeld” fame). Alexander plays a perpetual loser named Michael Makeshift. One day, his scummy brother Reggie (James Woods) shows up on Michael’s doorstep with his new bride Valerie (Lolita Davidovich). She’s unconscious. Reggie asks his brother to look after her for a couple of days and then leaves. It turns out that Reggie has to meet up with a couple of goons, played by Jay Mohr and Joe Mantegna, in order to develop plans to rob a credit union.
