A beautiful baby girl is born in Manhattan that bears the birthmark of the anti-Christ. 20 years later, a beaten-down ex cop, Jericho (Arnold Schwarzenegger), rescues the child born with the mark of the anti-Christ, now a young woman, Christine (Robin Tunney), from attackers.

Christine is haunted by disturbing visions and pursued by satan, in the form of a human man (Gabriel Byrne). Now, as the world stands on the brink of the new millennium, Jericho must protect Christine – and all mankind – from witnessing the end of days.
