Source: JoBlo.com by: Mike Sampson

You've waited and waited and the day is finally here. DARK KNIGHT Friday. You've probably already got your tickets and you're just waiting for your time. Or perhaps you're just getting in from one of the overnight screenings. Whatever the case, DARK KNIGHT fever is gripping the fanboy nation. We've got plenty to help satiate your need here at JoBlo.com including:

Interviews with Christian Bale, Christopher Nolan, Aaron Eckhart and Gary Oldman

A full video report from the DARK KNIGHT's New York City premiere

Two 10/10 reviews from Jimmy and Chris and a 4 star review from Arrow

A contest full of DARK KNIGHT swag

Classic scenes from Batman films through the ages

A video history of Batman trailers.

WHEW!

But here's a chance for you to leave your mark on the DARK KNIGHT legacy. The talkbacks are wide open below for you to post your own review of the film. While certainly we encourage an open discussion of the film, we would ask that any major spoilers be left out of your Strike Backs. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to slip on my Batman mask and twirl around the house with glee. DARK KNIGHT Day is here! DARK KNIGHT Day is here!

THE DARK KNIGHT left even Adam West speechless

BRILLIANT
Just saw it for the second time, in IMAX. Upon first viewing, I loved it, but thought it ran a bit too long and was overcomplicated. No more. The plot alone is a work of art, with each sequence perfectly setting up the next. This is a film that demands repeat viewings and delivers an embarrassment of cinematic riches. A masterpiece? Ask me in ten years. One of the best movies of the year so far, right up there with Wall-E? You bet your ass. Introduce a little anarchy.

I was using all caps FOR EMPHASIS. IT WORKED.

And screw you. I didn't realize that all the showings through midnight would be sold out at 6pm. I'm getting there at 10am tomorrow to buy tickets... I use cash, pal.

JUSTIN = CTFD!
Seriously, if you actually WANTED to see if you would have bought your tickets online ahead of time... you didn't and therefore knowing this movie would sell out, you are an idiot. Also, the fact you feeling typing in CAPS makes it mean more only shows how little we should care about you.

Dark Knight was BAD ASS though! :D

I went to see it tonight BUT IT WAS ALL SOLD OUT.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TERRIBLE OF A FEELING THAT IS? ANTICIPATING THE DARK KNIGHT BUT NOT GETTING TO FUCKING SEE IT?

CAN YOU IMAGINE MY LEVEL OF DEPRESSION??? THE ANGUISH I'M EXPERIENCING???

I WISH THIS ON NO ONE, NOT EVEN SCHUMACHER.

***Spoilers***
I know Ive already wrote something but its been 2 days since Ive seen it and I cant get its greatness out of my head, kind of like when I saw Pulp Fiction and Goodfellas the first time. Writer19 has explained it the best is that it really does make every other comic book movie look like shit but for me it does go beyond being just another comic book movie it is a great movie and a great addition into the crime thriller genre. I just cant get the performances out of my head especially the interrogation scene and the scene where the joker visits Harvey in the hospital after the bomb. And also the scene where Rachel and Harvey are tied up and talking to eachother on the phone so gut wrenching and powerful some of the best acting ever and you can see why he becomes so pissed off he really did love her and the Joker took that from him. And the way they ended the movie just characterized Batman so well, is that he is selfless and he doesnt want credit for his deeds. And throughout the movie where he was battling whether or not to kill the Joker fantastic. Heath Ledgers Joker can kick Jacks Jokers ass ne day and thats coming from a huge Jack fan. I just cant keep on saying enough good things about the movie I loved it. Consider my DVD bought.

THE ONE PROBLEM WITH DARK KNIGHT
The one and only problem with Dark Knight is that it makes every single other comic book movie look like total shit.

BRILLIANT
i thought it was brilliant. well played to get rid of rachel, maggy was for hundred times better then kate but i just got annoyed with the character and was pleased with her going. frankly, i feel like they should go a poison ivy/catwoman/two face route with two face running everything behind the scenes and keep the joker as an icon for the criminals of gotham. however, i have this desire to see ben kingsley (sp?) play mr. freeze. everything that heath ledger did was pure brilliance. he was terrifying and hilarious. i think i had a nightmare of the home videos that he made.

NOLAN HAS PROOVED IT...
You can make a movie with up to three villans in it and still have it be a classic! an Epic Masterpiece. Nuff said.
