We are getting TOY STORY 3 images as much as we are KICK-ASS character posters this week.

Out of all the stills we've received from TOY STORY 3, this in my opinion is the best. Jessie is showing some interest in Buzz as indicated by the raise of her painted eyebrow. Woody is obviously wondering how the hell this could possibly happen. I'm currently pondering the aspects of a toy love triangle.

Of course Buzz is awesome. He's a macho astronaut voiced by Tim Allen. Then on the other hand you have Woody, the cute sensitive cowboy voiced by the amazing Tom Hanks. I understand why it might be difficult. Does this make Jessie a toy skank? No, cowgirls have needs too.

Okay I need to stop. Click on the pic to get a larger view. Worry about toy romances later.

Extra Tidbit: TOY STORY vs. SHREK. *In my best Brock Sampson voice* Bring it on!!!

No Competition
SHREK has nothing on TOY STORY even though I'm also a SHREK fan I think the TOY STORY films have more heart and keep a balance between being a kiddy film and a film that adults can enjoy as well; where on the other hand SHREK is directed strictly to kids, which is fine but I gotta give it to Pixar on delivering more original and appealing films.

I hope this isn't referring to a love triangle. Toy Story doesn't need that. It was always about Toy-Owner love!

Shrek 4 Duh
This looks ridiculously boring. I'm sorry that I prefer adult humor over toys having a love triangle. The Shrek 4 trailer was eagerly received by yours truly, so speak for yourself!

BrokenDreamer for the win.. well said.. and perfectly put. Dreamworks isn't even in the same parking lot as Pixar.

Is adult humor fart jokes, burp jokes, vomit jokes, innuendo and soon to be dated pop culture references? Cause, if it is, I would rather enjoy a story about toys that come to life. Apparently, you have no appreciation for the nostalgic value of this movie or the joy of being reminded of the innocence of childhood. I am not completely opposed to Shrek; I have just gotten tired of the same jokes. This is the third Toy Story after a ten year hiatus; it is the fourth Shrek movie over a similar time span. Pixar, apart from having more imagination than Dreamworks, has an opportunity to bring something fresh to the franchise. With Shrek, all their jokes are fresh in the minds of the viewers from the one released 3 years prior. Now, they are recycling the "It's A Wonderful Life" premise for the fourth film. It's your opinion, but I trust Pixar more than I do Dreamworks (though Dreamworks does have more experience with sequels, so they should no what they are doing by now).

This is the only movie that will allow us to talk about toy romances without everyone thinking we're nutcases...

Toy Story > Shrek
I'm pretty sure Woody has his own thing going on with Bo Peep, unless I missed something.

They are not Brother and Sister. They were on the same television show, but not related.

I'm pretty sure he does too, but him and Jessie always seemed like a better match. Cow people outfits aside. Wow. I cannot believe I just said that.

Toy Story shits all over Shrek, so much so that it's not even a competition. The 3rd was forgettable and I was bored by the second... now a trailer for the 4th Shrek premieres and nobody gives a shit. Toy Story for the win

The next original film might come out in 2011, but that is not as far off as you might think. After Toy Story, Pixar releases Cars 2 (which I actually would like to see, if only for the chance to see what Pixar can do with the characters from Cars and a plot that does not seem eerily familiar; admittedly, though, I actually enjoyed Cars). But at least we get the original film a couple months ...

But at least we get the original film a couple months later during the holiday season. It's not too much of a wait.
