The new D9 trailer!

You may have heard the news online that a new DISTRICT 9 trailer would be in theaters and online next week. Well I can say that I was lucky enough to get an early look at the trailer before the big debut next week!

I don't have anything to show you from the trailer but I took some notes and I'll do my best to relate what I saw. It's much more action-packed than the original teaser but action still does not seem to be...

With HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE set for release in two weeks, we're starting to get a clearer picture on what new footage you might see before the film. HPATHBP is one of Warner Bros.' biggest releases of the year so there will be some cool new trailers to check out from their upcoming slate.

While I haven't loved anything I've seen from Robert Rodriguez's SHORTS, I imagine it's something that littler...

There were teaser posters, some character banners, more teaser posters, international posters, international teaser posters and now more character banners. They highlight Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Melanie Laurent and Christoph Waltz in their respective roles. It's nothing all that special but for the Tarantino...

Michael Mann's newest epic, PUBLIC ENEMIES, is released today and he could not have cast three more brilliant performers. The film stars Johnny Depp as 1930's bank robber and folk hero John Dillinger, Marion Cotillard as his moll Billie Frechette and Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis, the FBI agent who hunts Dillinger. We got to talk to Mann about the film, shooting in HD, and picking the soundtrack. Damn, this...

Well if there is a debate, it will soon be put to rest when Marshall Shady Mathers Slim or whatever, appears opposite Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen in Judd Apatow's highly...

First, they'd initially slated the Adam Sandler comedy GROWN UPS for a March 12th release but it apparently tested well enough that they've decided to put it right in the thick of summer for a June 25th release. It'll now face stiff competition from the Stephanie Meyer adapted threequel THE TWILIGHT SAGA:...

Some of the best animation out there isn't always what you see at your local multiplex. While Pixar gets a lot of praise, and rightly so, there are a number of independent animators creating some truly magical work out there. Case in point: German student Egmont Meyer. He created the short "Red Rabbit" as his final project for his studies at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. There's actually a pretty touching metaphor here that a lot of us can probably relate to.

The film is...
