Nick Stahl in T4? May. 14, 2007
Source: JoBlo
by: Dave Davis

Just the other day came the official announcement that Skynet's surplus of Hunter/Killers and deadly endoskeletons would be en route to theaters for more TERMINATOR movies courtesy of new rights owners, but no other details were offered.

Will actor Nick Stahl return to the role that Edward Furlong once made excruciating? TERMINATOR 4 will apparently involve John Connor's futuristic crusade against those metal motherf*ckers, and 'Master Sgt. Candy' tells us that (as rumored/expected) Stahl is not only part of the "option package" on the sequel(s), but is indeed giving consideration to coming back (we suspect he's being assaulted with bags of legal tender).

Regardless of who the filmmakers in-Stahl, the plan is still to shove a new TERMINATOR model through the time displacement equipment for 2009. We'll also learn more of Connor's quality time with mom -- Fox has officially picked up the SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES series for TV. Although considering Fox's treatment of genre material these days, it's probably already canceled.

Extra Tidbit: Given the rather unpleasant treatment of his face and genetalia in SIN CITY, it's unlikely Stahl will reprise that yellow role for the sequel.

SARAH CONNOR
I've seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles and it's pretty good. Hopefully Fox will give it a fair shake. Summer Glau is so awesomely creepy. And hot. I guess.

T2= one of the best films ever made. T3 was very groovy. it could have been better BUT it could have been a lot worse. The ending was one of the best endings in a film. Conclusion? Get Stahl back for T4. And make sure they ditch the bitch (ie Danes).

While being, for the most part, terrible Terminator 3 did manage to do a few things right. One of them was the casting of Nick Stahl as John Connor. Now, when he's up against Edward Furlong, it's not really much saying that Stahl is the best person who's ever played the role, but he did a good job with what he had.

But I'm sorry, for such a cookie cutter, Hollywood action movie to have such a bleak and utterly awesome ending like T3 did...I absolutely loved the ending. In fact, Stahl and the ending are pretty much the only things that would keep me interested in the continuation of the franchise.

T3 was awesome. The first frame of the the film was an explosion!!! Seriously what do you mean when you say "proper pacing" every ten minutes there was another explosion! Johnathan Mostow was probably like "Ten minutes, ok. Blow something up." And has anybody else watched the commentary with The Govinator? All he talks about is naked Kistanna Loken its hilarious.

Yeah Big Bri I could not disagree with YOU more. Terminator was perfection at it's best. I have no idea what you're talking about, but to each his own as I say. You have a right to your own opinion. Stahi was amazing in John Connor's role. At first I was afraid but no, he pulled it off nicely.

And what are you talking about dude? Mindless action with no regard for character development? Kate Brewster's character was perfectly developed and John Connor was already handled in the last film. We already know who he is. As for storyline; The story was perfect. I enjoyed it a lot. There was corny lines yes, but all films have them.

Naw, he was good in T3 for what he was asked to do, and considering some of the stuff in T2, like that sappy ending and I know now why you cry, I thought T3 was ok. Terminators should not have parental controls.

Yeah floyd I could not disagree with you more. Terminator 3 was almost unwatchable. I love the first two movies but number 3 was a stinker. Just really mindless action with very little regard for proper pacing and character development. Stahl may be a good actor but I think they should go with a fresh face for this one and erase the stink of the last.

If they're gonna make this movie, I think that Stahl should be involved. He's a good, underused actor and did a good job with the actor last time around.
