Like PARIS JE T'AIME before it, NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU is an anthology of short films, this time "illustrating the universal theme of encountering love within the five boroughs of New York City." Directors working on the segments within the film include Brett Ratner, Shekhar Kapur, Mira Nair, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman working with actors like Shia LaBeouf, Christina Ricci, Kevin Bacon, Robin Wright Penn, Orlando Bloom and Portman herself. Anthologies have always been difficult to pull off so can they do it? Check out a new trailer for the film below and see for yourself...

I'll see it, because Paris I Love You was pretty good. The one directed by the Run Lola Run guy starring Natalie Portman was amazing. I don't know about her directing tough... |

I'll see it, because I'm weak. But not weak enough to watch disaster movie. |

WEAK selection of directors!! Brett fuckin Ratner!?!? And two newbie actress/directors known more for their looks than anything else?! Paris had WAY more cred! |

CAN'T WAIT
I seen this trailer a few days ago at natalieportman.com as I am a huge fan of hers and visit the site daily.
I love the first and can't wait for the second. As for Nats fans Natalie Directs a short film yes, her directorial debut and stars in a short film. I can't wait so see what she put together behind the camera. |

I'M ACTUALLY A LITTLE OPTOMISTIC
I loved "Paris je t'aime." I sorta wish they didn't choose New York, least not yet, and the directing talent on hand here seems potentially less than on the other film, but it's hard to say really until I see it. |

SEEN IT BEFORE!!!
This kind of story telling has been done so many times that this movie seems like a parody of all those other movies. How about some originality Hollywood!! All the folks that star in this movie seem to be trying very hard to be hip by doing this crap!! BORING! |
