Old Spice Guy lands a movie role opposite Bateman and Aniston in Horrible Bosses

Look down, then up, now back at me. Old Spice Guy is now a movie star.

Well, not really, but he is on his way to being sought after as he’s recently revealed to THR that he’s got a role in HORRIBLE BOSSES, the Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman/Colin Farrell/everyone comedy about well, horrible bosses.

It’s his first film role since Tyler Perry’s FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF. Good lord Tyler Perry, you certainly know how to name your movies. How did that look on a movie poster?

Old Spice Guy (we really should start calling him by his awesome real name, Isaiah Mustafa) talks a bit about what exactly this part might be.

It's a smaller role, but who wouldn't want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies? The cast is great. I'm playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don't know exactly who I'm in the scene with -- maybe Jennifer Aniston!

And that’s the story of how Jennifer Aniston became DIAMONDS!

Alright, so it’s not exactly Luke Cage, like Mustafa previously had hoped for, but it’s a start, and I expect we’ll be seeing more of him in the future even after these commercials stop airing.

actually its an adaptation of a play from the 70's which was adapted in the 80's for tv. Im no fan of Perry, but maybe he can make a decent film with someone elses material?

This is a comedy that looks promising. The cast is awesome and should be interesting to see how all of them bounce off one another.

Lol, as ridiculously funny as those commercials are, I prefer the Terry Crews versions. Good for him though. "IT'S SO POWERFUL, IT'LL TURN OFF THE SUN! ...but then it get's too cold, so it makes ANOTHER SUN! DOUBLE SUN POOOOOOOOOOWER!" [link]

Good for him, maybe if he is good in this and a few other movies he will actually be considered for his dream role of playing Luke Cage.

Jesus, I thought that Tyler Perry title was a joke until I looked it up . All in all, cool to see Mustafa's star is on the rise.
