Pacino does Dali

Al Pacino might have forgiven director Andrew Niccol for S1M0NE, but I haven’t. That’s probably why he’s starring in Niccol’s next film, and I am not.

The gruff veteran thesp will portray drippy-clock visionary Salvador Dali, the famed flamboyant Spanish artist responsible for some of the most brilliantly f*cked-up works in history. Niccol’s movie is titled DALI & I: THE SURREAL STORY, but Corey Feldman and Flavor Flav are not expected to have cameos. The film is based on the Stan Lauryssen book and will be produced by the team behind the rather excellent THANK YOU FOR SMOKING.

Pacino and his increasingly screamy delivery will next be seen/heard in the thriller 88 MINUTES and the questionably necessary threequel OCEAN’S 13.
