PING PONG PLAYA is both co-written and directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Jessica Yu. In the film a kid dreams of playing professional basketball in order to escape his dead-end job, living in the suburbs, his bossy older brother and running his Mom's ping pong classes. PING PONG PLAYA hits theaters on September 5th this year.
Also, for those of you worried that this film might be anything like BALLS OF FURY, fear not: many ancient cultures have theorized that such travesties occur but once a millennium.

I'm half Asian and I can't tell what the hell the difference is between what sounds to me like "Wong" and "Wong". Or is that the joke? Wow I'm stupid.
