Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS is preparing to slay audiences this month at Cannes, and AICN has a look at what I hope will be a series of character posters from the flick, starting with oddly mustachioed scar-necked scalphunter Brad Pitt.

Tarantino's best days are long gone sadly. He gone from being cool and edgy to being as campy a director as John Waters (which isn't bad per se but it doesn't appeal to me much).

Who wants to bet that there will be at least a five minute sequence in this film prominently featuring women's feet?

The pics look pretty cool and fairly representative of Pitt's character in the film. The script was a pretty good read and entertaining so 2h40m isn't a big deal considering the script was 163 pgs. I will say though t...

Nice to know some things don't change. Like the run-time of Tarantino's movies. Ever since "Pulp Fiction" he's been known to go a little heavy on the length. And with writing like his, that's probably a good thing. Really, if it weren't for his trademark characters I probably would've given "Kill Bill" a pass. I think it may have worked against him on "Death Proof," though in its favor, that one had me freaked out about getting rammed to death by oncoming cars.
