I don't see this working. This new generation u're speaking of is all about CGI and nonsense..*ahem* Michael *ahem* Bay movies...anyways, the clown scene freaked me out back in the days...question is: how could replace Carol Anne? |

The original worked once because it was a fairly new concept at the time. Right now, I don't see this working at too well. The budget will probably be too big, and that is the problem with horror movies today, too big of a budget. It is all about flash and not so much about substance. |

ANOTHER REMAKE? UM...YAY!
No thanks. A fun film for the time, but another remake? Oh yeah we can have the original starring Craig T. Nelson be Grandpa! This is more than pathetic now. What are we going to get "Jurassic Park" remade now because the kids weren't alive when it came out in '93? That's 1993 to you kids that went and made "Prom Night" the remake a hit not the original Jamie Lee Curtis pretty bad in it's own right piece of garbage. What are we going to get "Star Wars" remade now? That's right, that cow is still trying to be milked yet MOST of us did not or will not see "Clone Wars." I watched a few mins online (sue me) and wanted to kick the mimicking actors. Hayden & Ewan knew better than be involved, besides George could pay someone incompetent!! Studios won't stop remaking things as long as they can make money on it. Thanks again for seeing "Prom Night!" Before you say don't say it's bad because you didn't see it, well I don't have to. RottenTomatoes is all I need to see 8% approval. To think the excellent Idris Elba from "The Wire" went to this saddens me. Even sadder is he probably made more money too. Go Rent "The Wire" so you can remember what TV can be, because we aren't getting in much in movies. |

GOOD
I think perelman is a very talent director. Much better than Peter Hyams, Rob Cohen, Lee Tamahori (what happen with him afer ONce were warriors), etc. |

I am not in the least interested in a Poltergeist remake, but I am interested in Vadim Perelman. "House of Sand and Fog" was awesome. I actually didn't know he did "The Life Before Her Eyes" though. I might've actually tried to see it. |
