Actually think xxxoverridexxx hit it on the head. Honestly, I liked both movies equally. My biggest beef with TWBB was it lacked a human foil to make sense of things. And it lacked any significant female characters, making the film even more odd, since I think it could have benefitted from it. |

Meh. THERE WILL BE BLOOD was luckily more interesting than bad, but it was too long, and D-Day was SO boring, but the movie was interesting enough that I'd give another movie (with a much less-hammy actor) a chance. So again: meh. I know I'm the only one who'll say this, but it's true... |

Totally right on about There Will Be Blood as last years best. I'm sure whatever he chooses will be great, as with all his movies. No Country was good, but way overblown. Definately not the Coens best. |

I wanna see what he will do with a horror movie. I know he will make something amazing.
And I looked into the metal gear thing a while back and they said he wont be doing that. But still that would be awesome. |

This man is the greatest filmmaker to ever live, better than any filmmaker of past or present. I'm so excited for this. This is a great plot. |

No Country was def the better movie while There Will be Blood had the better acting. Each had its own flaws like:

PZADVANCE, YOU'RE AN IDIOT
It's not that you have a different opinion than me, it's that you actually think opinions (especially about art) are right or wrong. I noticed you provided not one little trifling bit to back up why my opinion is "wrong."
Yes, you pushed my button just right. Attitudes like yours are why professional movie reviewers are more important than ever. |

Although I do agree There Will Be Blood was the best movie of last year, I just can't anticipate one of PTA's films like I do the Coens'.
Also, I don't believe that Blood would have been nearly as good without Daniel Day Lewis. |
