THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE has gotten itself a teaser poster, which you can check out over at UGO. The film stars Ray Stevenson as Frank Castle, aka. The Punisher, who, after hunting down and killing hundreds of violent criminals, faces his most deadly foe yet, in the "Jigsaw" (played by Dominic West).
With all of the bad ass comic book movies coming out this year, it's easy to forget about the new PUNISHER movie. I don't know if it's customary, or you expected some kind of redeeming piece of information about the flick, but that's really all I've got. It's easy to forget about this film.

That's badass!!! Agreed with crookman. Tom Jane is ok, but not as Punisher. I just hope this movie isn't as generic as it's writer claimed it to be.. |

But I haven't seen Ray Stevenson act, so I can't say for sure who will be better, but having one of the writers of the film ask to have his name taken off the film doesn't make me feel better about it. |

The poster looks ok, it reminds me of the Saw posters in some way, but I agree that this movie is easy to forget, especially with all of these other summer flicks, but if this film is as good as it's supposed to be, then once the trailer hits, everyone is gonna start talking about it. |

This new guy looks like Frank Castle is supposed to look: Big, Ugly and Mean. Jane is a fine actor, i loved him in that south african cop-turned-robber film, but he's just not menacing enough, however long he lifts weights. Haven't you seen Ray Stevenson in the series Roma? He's a monster, and an actor. And just that poster looks a whole lot better than that wimpy last Punisher film. |
