QUANTUM OF SOLACE Sony has decided that James Bond's hyper-intense brood, as portrayed by Daniel Craig and his chiseled manliness in the upcoming QUANTUM OF SOLACE, will be better served by a November 14th release date, a week later than its previous November 7th release. So those of you dying to see Craig brood his way through another adventure, this time involving villainous eco-terrorists, all the while finding time to bump uglies with the stunning Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton, will, sadly, have to wait a whole week. But fear not, this film promises to be the broodiest, ass-tapping-est, kick-the-shit-out-of-bad-guys-ing-est yet. Not officially, of course. But director Marc Forster is one talented mofo and the teaser that was released not too long ago looked pretty on the ball.

Extra Tidbit: This is the fourth Bond film that Robert Wade and Neil Purvis have scripted.

I saw the title to this story, thought that it was going to say that Bond was going to join Harry next summer, and nearly shat my pants. But I think I can handle a week. . . but just barely. This film is going to rock socks.

one week? seriously?? what possible difference could that make? and losing out on a 7th opening day for a double-o 7 flick, thats crap...the date matched, you losers...move it back to the original "matchy" date already !!

Might as well have moved it up a week, you know before everyone starts shopping for Xmas and other religious events (yay for PC!), and pays their heating bills only to realize they have no money left over this winter.

What a relief...
When I read the headline, I was bracing myself for a "Summer 2009" release. Thankfully, it was only measly week. But yea, it's puzzling that to be pushed back in such miniscule time.
