I don't know if knowing it's an homage to the Paul Bartel/Roger Corman flick makes me wanna see this thing more or less, because I pretty much don't look forward to Paul W.S. Anderson's movies anyway, but calling this thing a remake or prequel to the cult classic feels one way or another to be wrong, in that it's too dark and not satirical. |
