Review:
Had never seen this popcorn western starring the young studs-of-the-day before, and I guess I hadn't really missed much, since the film didn't really do much for me. Charlie Sheen's accent was friggin' hilarious, I will give you that, and a couple of the shoot-out scenes were cool, but on the whole, the film just dragged on and didn't really have many surprises.

I was impressed by Estevez's over-the-top lead performance as Billy the Kid and liked the whole ol' West motif, but the dialogue was lame, the 80s soundtrack dated and the story only so-so.

I always enjoyed watching this movie - I'm a big fan of westerns, and while this one doesn't exactly follow the classic western style, it's still a good ole time. The characters are fun and cool (Charlie Sheen not included), the story is simple and slick, and the performances aren't half bad. Seemed like Emilio Estevez had a lot of fun playing Billy the Kid.

The final shootout is pretty cool and the other action scenes are well done as well. Not to shabby if you ask me.
