I'd quote you word for word, but what would be the point. You've pretty much said all that needs to be said. Needless to say, I completely agree with you on this. |

If this ends up having more sequels than the Friday the 13th series, then I'm gonna be really pissed. I want JASON! Not some serial killer that's coughed down a million cigarettes. |

I am absolutely stumped as to why these shitty movies are still popular and being made.
They aren't scary--any semblance of fright is sucked out of the air by that obnoxious 80 cuts/minute editing. They just boil down to 90 minutes of "what fucked up shit can we think of". Problem is--they ruin even that! The fucked up shit is boring because it doesn't even feel real...it's soulless and contrived. Give me a real exploitation movie any day, but save this co-opted mainstream shit for the frats.
The scariest thing about Saw III was the fact that they decided to CGI the cold-breath in the freezer rather than actually having a cold set.
...Hostel, on the other hand, with its deconstruction of this very genre ("You pay, you watch"), was brilliant.
LASTLY, to all Saw defenders...please explain to me Jigsaw's motives in a way that ISN'T a dumbed-down version of John Doe's, and maybe I'll give these movies a second chance. |

if you don't want to see the movie, cool, but don't litter the strike back column with your disdain, its a little bit silly. |

That trailer was pretty fucking dumb... what was with the projector on the wall shit? I can appreciate that they wanted to try something original with the teaser, but it just ended up looking dumb.
I'm not a huge saw fan, but I will still probably see this movie. The first one has a place in my heart, but both of the sequels have been lackluster. |

THAT BANGING ROCK TRACK..
Is the main theme for Saw and all it's sequels composed by Charlie Clouser. Ben, you must really have forgotten the films cause that theme and the scenes its in are the best part. |

seriously angelious, that was low... We need to grow up because we like the saw movies? Take a long look at yourself there buddy. Believe it or not, you're not the only person on this planet with an opinion. If you don't like the movies, don't see them, simple as that. No one forces you to watch them. And this goes for everyone else too...show a little more respect for the people that do like them. Everyone has an opinion on everything. I'll respect that you don't like the movies so long as you respect the people who do. All in all, I'm pumped for this movie. |

MORE ON SAW?
If you want a full out 4 minute clip of a torture scene, go to Break.com.
I saw it on there, it involved one guy with his eyes sewn shut, and the other with his mouth sewn shut. They are linked by the neck to chains, connecting to a device in the center of the room. I believe the premise of the trap, is that they can help each other and cut one another's sewn parts, and then figure out a way out, or die by getting ground up in this conveyor machine.
Go check it out, one guy does die though. It's really not too "cool" if you ask me, I think the torture scenes could do a lot better than this. Only eerie thing about it is the fact that it's in a mausoleum. |

So, anyone who likes Saw needs to grow up and get a life. Angelius is a retarded little douchebag who instead of telling people to get a life should fuck off and let other people have an opinion. And who are you to judge good quality films, wait, are you the ghost of Gene Siskel?! |

OH SHUT UP!
Anyone think these "I'm sick of Saw" posts are getting REALLY OLD? OK, haters, we get it for the hundredth time. There are still a whole lotta people who dig the Saw series (myself included). It ain't the best horror movies ever, but they sure do make good entertainment. |
