For the past couple of months, we've been keeping track of all the conjecture and casting on Quentin Tarantino's suddenly swift-moving WWII project INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. We already know who most of the participants are... but how will QT's new movie actually look?

Here's a hint: Robert Richardson is serving as director of photography. As a point of reference, Richardson has been a go-to guy for cinematography on numerous movies from Martin Scorsese (CASINO, THE AVIATOR) and Oliver Stone (PLATOON, and pretty much everything else he's done), not to mention Tarantino's KILL BILL vol. 1 and 2.

Tarantino has previously stated his desire to make a WWII movie with a unique appearance, something that feels both current and like a period film. Richardson's work has covered just about every time frame in the past century, so he should be more than qualified.

Also, reader 'Michael D.' sent along this nifty teaser poster -- it's quite possibly fan-made, but it's a damn fine image.

Oh and PoopyUnderwear, on the Death Proof poster it reads:
Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof.

But the poster looks very much fanmade to me. Although it's bitchin' nonetheless.

I see yet another 5 star movie for Quentin coming up.

Anyone notice that all of his movie's titles consist of 2 words? I noticed when Kill Bill was anounced and thought maybe it's just a coincidence but 2 movies later we still have 2 word titles:

Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill
Death Proof
Inglorious Bastards

I don't think he would ever go the possessive "Quentin Tarantino'S" route, he's always been more of an "A Quentin Tarantino Film" kinda guy.
