Moviefone has posted the trailer for SHREK THE THIRD but that's not the big news. The big news is that I was able to play the entire trailer without it stopping to "buffer" once! Amazing! The trailer actually is pretty funny despite my thoughts that I might be getting a little tired of the SHREK schtick. Both Donkey and Pinocchio have some pretty funny bits. SHREK THE THIRD, which features an all-star voice cast that includes stand-bys Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas as well as newcomers Justin Timberlake, Rupert Everett, Amy Poehler, Cheri Oteri, Maya Rudolph, Ian McShane and Amy Sedaris, opens on May 18th. Click here to head to Moviefone to see the trailer, which will also be in theaters with CHARLOTTE'S WEB this weekend.

Extra Tidbit: Mike Myers hasn't starred in a live-action film in over three years.

This looks like it'll be fun. Though I do agree with Quigles, not exactly a well constructed trailer.

In terms of the movie itself, it obviously has some very funny gags. So count me in.

Still, I agree that it's getting pretty excessive now. I didn't even want there to be a second one. Well, as long as how ever many movies they make stay funny, I won't complain too much.

As far as the actual trailer goes, wow - how poorly put together. They basically choose the most amateur route possible with the voice over and on-screen writing, etc... I thought it made it look lame.

That was pretty hilarious actually. Even though Shrek 2 disappointed, I can't wait for this one though.
