A dismal lineup indeed
With the exception of District 9 and The International, none of these films look either interesting or good. Has Sony stopped trying?

Aside from angles & demons nothing seems promising on this list. There are a few maybes, but a trailer will help determine the quality of these movies.

They should have gotten John Locke himself, Terry O'Quinn back for Stepfather.

Fired Up and Max's Mardi Gras kind of scream watch the unrated DVD instead... and isn't Eric Christian Olsen too old to play a high school student?

Potentially 2 good movies in there... but definitely the turd on this turd infested mountain is Heigl... in anything. Don't put that chick as anything in anything. She's hard to watch on screen, and even harder to watch doing press. So, yeah, stop...

Not bad to me, and its got a few that might actually be really good, like Armored, The Ugly Truth and Angels and Demons.
BTW, does this include Columbia Pictures?

Actually this 'Armored' is NOT a remake. The remake is still in the works with a script by David Ayer and Andrew Kevin Walker, but it has been stuck in development hell for the past 4 years or so.

Bad stuff
The International sounds kinda cool. Otherwise it looks like it's gonna be a rough year for Sony.
Heigl again as the perpetually single gorgeous chic who just doesn't get it?!
Pelham 123 could be cool, that will depend entirely on Travolta not playing the guy from Swordfish again.

Hmmm....
'Underworld,' 'The International,' 'Obsessed,' and 'Planet 51' sound interesting.

A Question:

Why does 'Fired Up' and 'Year One' have the same description? Either the studio is releasing two films with the same premise, or there wasn't any proof reading before this article was posted.

A big meh....
Let's see, we got:
- Stupid teen comedies
- The next over-blown Roland Emmerich trash heap
- Another cheesy stalker movie
- Another Black-centric movie to pander to its non-discerning audience
- Underworld w/o Kate Beckinsale
- Pink. Fucking. Panther. Again.
- Another inane romantic comedy starring that queen-bitch Katherine Heigl

The only reason Sony's living and breathing in the movie industry is because of Spider-Man and James Bond.
