Well, okay...I lied, it's not actually the SONY summer preview, but more like their partner baby-studios: TRI-STAR PICTURES and SCREEN GEMS. SONY releases all of their films anyway, so here are the 3 films they are releasing this summer, as well as RESIDENT EVIL 3 (aka RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION....yawn), which is set for release in September.

Two notes here: the first has to do with DADDY DAY CAMP, which Eddie Murphy should be applauded for not doing (pretty much the only kid's movie sequel the dude seems to have turned down...ever!!), but Cuba Gooding Jr. should be damn ashamed for doing. I guess it really is all about showing you the money, hey champ? And oh yeah, the film is directed by the kid from "Wonder Years", man!!! No f*ckin' joke...Fred Savage in the house!

Second note is about the cool-titled I KNOW WHO KILLED ME, which actually sounds like a slick premise and stars...Lindsay Lohan?!? This chick still making movies?? Wow!! I'm not sure if she's the hottie in the pic below, but I doubt it as the girl in the picture actually has lips, as opposed to Lohan, who has...well, many many issues in her life. Who knew that Lohan could actually sing too. She had a decent voice in Prairie Home Companion. I have no idea how her actual albums are though.

Yes, that's actually Lohan up in that picture, that would be the bulimic version, though. And if that's a picture from the movie I think it is, she's going to get her arm and leg cut off.

damnit, now I will have to go see daddy day camp even though I know I will hate it and probably purge the popcorn from my system when I get home. I know that seems like a stupid thing to do but now that I know that it's directed by Fred "The Man" Savage, I would hate to see a movie that he's involved in go down the toilet. Thanks JoBlo!
