Soundwave in TF2!

I know a lot of you need another TRANSFORMERS movie like you need a third nut, but I believe there are enough of you out there who like me, loved the shit outta the first movie. I'd also like to think that of that number, there are a bunch who want to see Soundwave in the sequel. Today we have confirmation on just that, from writer Roberto Orci:

IGN: Is there one particular Transformer, good or bad, that you absolutely had to get into the sequel?
ORCI: I'll tell you. We had to get Soundwave in there.

IGN: Nice. Where Soundwave goes, will Ravage follow?
ORCI: Perhaps! Who's Ravage? ... I'm kidding! You know, we had Ravage in an early draft of the first movie and Soundwave, and we couldn't do it right and I think this time hopefully we'll have the ability to do it.

ravage is my favorite decepticon.. Mostly due to his annexation by the predacons in the beast wars.. but still. hes so fucking bad ass. I wish he looked like his beastwars model in the original.. he somehow can still transform into a cassette so why not. haha

Thing is...
They'd have to use the original cartoon voice, or something similiar first of all.

Secondly, he won't be nearly as kickass as he was in the cartoon because he'll be smaller than a person because no one is going to believe that an iPod/Discman or something relative is going to turn into a 50 foot robot. Unless they make him something different altogether, and then its not Soundwa...

i didn't think bay handled any of the t-formers very well in the last film, especially the decepticons. (how can you make a movie titled TRANSFORMERS and only have a few with dialogue.) So I'm not too optimistic about how he'll handle such a classic character.

michael bay will do with soundwave what he does to everything...make it terrible. soundwave's my favorite transformer and now he's in the hands of the man who made pearl harbor. no good, he'll probably make soundwave into an ipod that plays shitty music or blows up.
