This is all good and exciting...but doesn't it make more sense to cast Tom Hanks instead of Neeson? I mean, Hanks is related to Lincoln-well, that's how I would have cast it anyway...
However, Neeson is a wonderful actor and I am sure that he will do a wonderful job! |

It'll be great to see the first re-teaming of Spielberg and Neeson since Schindler's List. I'm glad that a great director and actor will be working on portraying on of my favorite person's in american history. |

From the moment I heard Spielberg was planning a Lincoln film with Liam Neeson in the lead, I was excited. Glad to see this finally moving forward. One question though: Is there a line in Liam's contract that says he has to die in nearly every one of his movies? |

Steven Spielberg confirmed to German magazine FOCUS that he's returned his attention to his Abraham Lincoln biopic with an early 2009 shoot planned. My German skills leave much to be desired but
