One of the trailers folks will be seeing with prints of THE DARK KNIGHT this weekend will be the first teaser for TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE FUTURE BEGINS. But you don't have to wait until Friday to see Christian Bale as John Connor! The teaser trailer is up right now! Check out some hi-res screengrabs as well as a streaming version of the trailer below and then head to Yahoo! Movies where they have an exclusive HD version that's well worth a look. But then again, I've been wrong before (see Brett Ratner's X-Men 3).

Hell yes. I grew up on the original, was blown away (at the time) by T2, and thought T3 was awesome. I hope Joseph McGinty Nichol can pull this off. Seriously...who the fuck calls themselves mcg as a grown adult?!

I see Paul Haggis has contributed, script wise. Brancato and Ferris have a few decent titles in their writing history. I think this one just might go LARGE. Trailer sure sets the mood.

I'm not sure the Terminator story is good enough for an epic war movie.

It does look good. In fact it's a lot better than I thought it'd be. But the only thing that annoyed me was 'The End BEGINS'. Are all of Bale's dives into big franchise movies gonna have 'Begins' somewhere in the title?
