New featurettes arrive for 13 Hours, Anomalisa and The Big Short

If you’re the type who enjoys a good behind-the-scenes peak at the latest flicks in theaters, then it looks like Paramount Pictures has you covered. Today sees the release of featurettes for 3 of their latest films; 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI, ANOMALISA and THE BIG SHORT. Let’s get to it!

13 HOURS follows a security team after an American Ambassador is killed during an attack at a U.S. compound in Libya. Michael Bay‘s latest looks to deliver a much more visceral and grounded action film than that of his TRANSFORMERS flicks, and the following featurette shows you why he looks to be the right man for the job.

ANOMALISA is the highly anticipated stop-motion film brought to us by Charlie Kaufman. The emotional sensibilities showcased in his previous work, like SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK and ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, is ever present in this animated film. You can get an idea of the struggle to make it with this featurette below.

Last but not least is a featurette that shows us what kind of film Adam McKay is capable of when he’s not aiming for laughs all of the time (not that there’s anything wrong with that). THE BIG SHORT has laughs of its own, but it’s mixed in with some of the twisted truths of big banks and the people who run them.
