Last Updated on August 5, 2021

How about some new movie posters to sweeten your Wednesday afternoon? There, that's the spirit! First up we have LAIKA animation studio's KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 19, 2016. Clever, kindhearted Kubo (Art Parkinson) ekes out a humble living, telling fantastical stories to the people of his seaside town. But his relatively quiet existence is shattered when he accidentally summons a mythical spirit from his past which storms down from the heavens to enforce an age-old vendetta. Now on the run, Kubo joins forces with Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey), and sets out on a thrilling quest to save his family and solve the mystery of his fallen father, the greatest samurai warrior the world has ever known. The trailer for this animated epic will hit this Friday, but you can get a taste of the artistic stylings with the first poster below.

Next up is the Tom Hiddleston vehicle, I SAW THE LIGHT, which will hit theaters on March 25, 2016. The flick tells the story of the country-western singer Hank Williams, who in his brief life created one of the greatest bodies of work in American music. A lot has been said about this biopic (check out our review here) but the one constant is that Hiddleston delivers one hell of a performance!

Last but not least, we have Michael Bay's 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI. This flick will follow a security team in Libya who struggle to make sense of the chaos following the assassination of a US ambassador. Now 3 new posters have arrived to paint a picture of what they stand for, and you can see the soldiers in action come January 15, 2016.
