JoBlo YouTube channel surpasses 500,000,000 views and cracks the top 250!

Despite our site being founded in 1998 after I had just graduated from college and couldn't "find a real job", it wasn't until June 2011 that we were able to get our official YouTube channel up and running (now called JOBLO MOVIE TRAILERS), and boy has it ever been successful since then! Admitedly, even we have been extremely surprised/impressed by the number of views and subscribers that we have generated in the past couple of years, but none us expected our channel to surpass the 500,000,000 (that's half a billion!) views in that sort of amount of time, alongside close to 800,000 subscribers.

Our channel is now ranked in the top 250 channels on all of YouTube (among millions of channels) and has arguably become the #1 movie trailer destination on all of YouTube! And yes, despite still being an independent movie website with absolutely no corporate ties or major backing behind it, our JoBlo.com channel recently surpassed billion-dollar corporations in the industry such as CNN, Warner Bros Pictures, TMZ, Playstation, Adult Swim, ESPN, and many networks including NBC and the like.

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who have continued to follow our progression on YT, along with all of the new fans we've been lucky enough to make over the years. We also need to thank many of the movie studios who have been very cool with us over the years (and trust me when I say that it's "not easy" to saunter through the YouTube copyright issues without them) including the good folks at Sony, Universal Studios, Lionsgate, Paramount, FOX and Warner Bros, and even partner channels like Machinima and MovieClips who have been cool enough to work with us whenever issues arose. I also wanted to thank the great Nick Bosworth for managing the shit out of our channel and all of our many "original video content" contributors like Jason Blake, Fortress of Attitude, Justine Browning, Shane Harris, Snark Rocket Studios and Kevin Blanchard. Our channel has become a one-stop shop for anyone looking for the latest movie trailers online (and fast! — we're usually one of the first channels to have a big trailer up) and we most recently became the first channel to offer 2K/4K ULTRA-HD versions of some of the top blockbuster trailers, which you can check out in their own Playlist.
